Job Description
We currently have a chance for an experienced Field Service Technician to join our high performing field serviceteam for Tamworth.
TheGunnedah Basin mining region is home to over170 Cummins High Horsepower engines, powering a range of mining equipment.
There is a 7/7 Roster, for either someone local to Tamworth, or a Drive in, drive out chance can be available.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Perform breakdown and preventative tasks
Diverse range engine repairs, both major and minor
Working autonomously as well as having the ability to work in a great team environment
Work with other major OEM's - Komatsu, Hitachi, Liebherr
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Relevant trade qualification (Heavy Commercial Vehicle/Heavy Diesel, Plant, or Light Vehicle also considered)
A valid driver's license
Experience as a Diesel Mechanic in the service and maintenance of heavy diesel products, mining equipment, engines and similar applications is preferred
Field service experience preferred coupled with heavy duty engine experience
Compensation and Benefits
7/7 Even time roster
Over $165k OTE Earnings
Overtime penalties for all work above standard hours
Tool of Trade Vehicle provided
