Mater Private Hospital Rockhampton is seeking an experiencedOccupational Therapistto join our dedicatedRehabilitation Unit.
The successful applicant will be offeredpermanent part-time employment, working 20 hours per week.

What you'll be doing
As an Occupational Therapist your expertise will be invaluable to the multidisciplinary team in the Rehabilitation Unit.
You will work with Nursing staff, Visiting Medical Officers, Physiotherapists, Speech Pathologists, Rehabilitation Assistants, Dietitians and Pharmacists to ensure best patient outcomes are achieved.
As an Occupational Therapist you are expected to provide exceptional service to patients and contributing to a multidisciplinary team, managing caseloads, measuring outcomes and displaying an ongoing dedication to continuous improvement.
You will be expected to have a strong understanding of the requirements for contributing to a safe workplace in a hospital environment.
About you
The successful applicant will possess:
Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist (no restrictions)




Experience in occupational therapy assessment and treatment of various orthopaedic and neurological conditions using a problem-solving and objective approach
Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional occupational therapy clinical services of a complex nature, managing caseload priorities and discharge planning
Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form to enable effective service delivery and documentation
Hold a current Australian driver's license
Membership of the OT Australia (desirable)
