Job Description
Provide clinical services to the highest standard with limited supervision, exercising qualified judgement and advanced clinical competence.
Key responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day operations of the emergency department efficiently and safely.
Respond to MET/Code Blue/Code Black calls as required during shifts.
Supervise, train, and provide guidance to junior medical staff and allied health professionals.
Participate in teaching, quality assurance, continuous improvement, health promotion, and community education activities.
What you need
Work with us - Yorke and Northern LHN.
We're seeking a dedicated and experienced medical practitioner who holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent, with appropriate specialist qualifications such as FACEM, FACRRM, or FRACGP.
Ideally looking for a 0.5 to 1.0 full time equivalent commitment, however all applications will be considered.
