Logistics Coordinator
Wellington | Permanent | Full-Time or Part-Time
Support engineering operations by keeping materials, equipment and resources moving where they need to be.
Our client is an established organisation operating within a busy engineering environment.
They are looking for an organised and practical Logistics Coordinator to support the movement, availability and control of materials, equipment and resources across their Wellington operations.
This is a varied role combining logistics coordination, inventory control and operational support.
You'll work closely with engineering, project and operational teams to ensure materials and equipment are available when required, records remain accurate and day-to-day activities run efficiently.
What you'll be doing
Coordinate deliveries, collections and the movement of materials and equipment
Maintain accurate inventory, stock and asset records
Support engineering and project teams with material and resource requirements
Liaise with suppliers and service providers around orders and delivery timeframes
Process inventory movements, returns, transfers and adjustments within business systems




Monitor stock levels and investigate discrepancies
Coordinate the issue and return of tools, equipment and company assets
Respond to changing operational priorities and urgent requirements
Support improvements across logistics and inventory processes
What we're looking for
You'll bring previous experience across logistics, stores, inventory control, supply chain or materials coordination, ideally within an engineering, manufacturing, construction, industrial or trade-based environment.
You'll be organised, systems confident and comfortable managing competing priorities while working closely with technical and operational teams.
A Full Class 1 Driver Licence is required.
Forklift, OSH or Dangerous Goods experience would be advantageous.
