Job Description
LDR Industries Pty Ltd and LOCKATM are seeking a reliable Welder to join our growing team.
This role involves fabricating and welding truck cabinets, toolboxes, water tanks, and other metal components to a high-quality finish.
Key Responsibilities
Reading and interpreting workshop drawings and specifications
MIG welding of steel and aluminium components
Fabrication, fitting, and assembly of truck cabinets, toolboxes, and tanks
Grinding, finishing, and preparing welded components for the next stage of production
Maintaining welding equipment and a clean, safe work area
Inspecting finished work to ensure quality and structural standards are met
Following workplace health and safety procedures
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in MIG welding,



fabrication, or sheet metal work desired but not required — full training provided
Ability to read basic technical drawings desired but not required — full training provided
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Forklift licence (advantageous but not essential)
Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused attitude
