Our client is seeking a motivated Junior Reliability Engineer to join their manufacturing operation in Somersby.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career engineer looking to gain hands‐on experience in reliability, maintenance and manufacturing within a dynamic industrial setting.
Working alongside experienced engineering and maintenance professionals, you'll develop practical skills while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and equipment reliability projects across a busy manufacturing site.
About the Role
Reporting to the Reliability team, your responsibilities will include:
Supporting reliability and maintenance improvement initiatives
Assisting with equipment performance and reliability investigations
Collecting, analysing and interpreting maintenance and equipment data
Supporting preventative and corrective maintenance activities
Assisting with engineering and continuous improvement projects
Maintaining engineering and maintenance documentation
Supporting SAP and maintenance management systems
Collaborating with Maintenance, Production and Engineering teams
Providing general engineering support across the site

About You
To be successful, you will ideally have:
Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or a related discipline, or currently nearing completion
Previous engineering, manufacturing, maintenance or industrial experience, gained through employment, internships or placements
A genuine interest in reliability, maintenance and manufacturing operations
Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills
Excellent communication and organisational abilities
A practical, hands‐on approach
The ability to work effectively within a fast‐paced manufacturing environment
Experience with SAP or maintenance management systems will be highly regarded but is not essential.

Full-time hours, minimum 38 hours per week
Monday to Friday roster
Preferred day shift hours of 6:00am to 2:00pm with flexibility
