Job Description
Casual team member in a busy trade centre warehouse.
Small crew, flat out most days, no passengers.
This is physical work.
Constant lifting, loading and unloading — by hand, no forklifts.
On your feet all day.
If you're after a job where you sit down, this isn't it.
Day to day:
Serving customers at the counter
Loading, unloading, stacking, unpacking, counting and presenting stock
Deliveries to customer work sites
Answering phones and using our computer system
Housekeeping — cleaning, tidying, keeping the place sharp
Backing up the rest of the team
WHAT YOU NEED
Clean driving record — no accidents or loss of licence in the last 5 years
The physical fitness to lift and move stock by hand for a full shift
Explicit communication and a presentable manner — you're in front of customers all day
To turn up, on time, every shift you're rostered
HANDY TO HAVE
Truck licence
Trade or labouring background — tiling, concreting, bricklaying, that sort of work
