About the Role
This is a full-time, permanent Underground Shift Electrician position, working on a 2/2 roster with FIFO from Brisbane or Townsville.
The role is heavily underground-focused - approximately 90% of your time will be spent below surface, working on the development, installation and maintenance of underground infrastructure.
You'll be joining a supportive team led by experienced leaders, at a site with a genuine focus on culture and development as the project ramps up.
Key Responsibilities
Installation and maintenance of underground electrical infrastructure
Reading and interpreting drawings and schematics
Jumbo box starter installs and maintenance
Pump, fan and vent maintenance
Underground drill servicing
General fault-finding and breakdown response across underground fixed and mobile plant
About You
Underground electrical experience - this can come from mining, industrial, tunnelling or similar underground environments, as long as you've worked underground before
Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics
Willingness to commit to a 2/2 FIFO roster from Brisbane or Townsville
Experience with jumbo box starters, UG drill servicing, pumps, fans and vents
HV switching ticket
