Gemellini is looking for an experiencedHead Chefto lead our kitchen in the heart of Nobby Beach.
Part of theGemelli Group, Gemellini is a busy neighbourhood Italian restaurant with a loyal local following.
We're a smaller venue with a great customer base, and we're looking for someone who wants to take real ownership of their kitchen and their team.
HEAD CHEF – GEMELLINI | NOBBY BEACH
The Role
This is a hands-on leadership position.
You'll be responsible for running the kitchen day to day while maintaining the quality, consistency and standards our customers expect.
You will be responsible for:
Leading, training and motivating the kitchen team
Running smooth and organised services
Managingordering, stock control
Managing food costs, wastage and labour
Working to budgets andmeeting agreed financial targets
Rostering and managing kitchen labour effectively
Maintaining consistency, portion control and presentation
Maintaining food safety and kitchen compliance
Working closely with the Restaurant Manager and senior management
Creating a positive, skilled and accountable kitchen culture
About You




We're looking for someone who is:
An experiencedHead Chef or strong Sous Chef ready to step up
Agreat leaderwho knows how to get the best out of their team
Experienced in Italian or Mediterranean cuisine
Commercially minded and understands the numbers behind running a successful kitchen
Confident with ordering, stock management, food costs and labour targets
Organised, reliable and calm under pressure
Hands‐on and happy to be part of service
Passionate about quality, consistency and hospitality
You MUST currently be living in Australia to apply and have valid Australian working rights.
