Are you a qualified electrician looking for more variety and the chance to expand your skills in air conditioning?
Simplex Air Conditioning and Electrical is an owner-operated business based on the Gold Coast, and we're looking for an experienced and reliable electrician to join our team.
This role offers a genuine mix of electrical work and air conditioning, with the position approximately 50% electrical work and 50% air conditioning installation and support, depending on current projects.
You'll work across residential and light-commercial projects and alongside experienced air conditioning installers, gaining hands‐on experience with both split-system and ducted air conditioning.
Previous air conditioning experience is preferred, but it's not essential.

What you'll be doing
Your work will include a mix of:
General electrical work
Electrical work associated with air conditioning installations
Running cables, isolators and electrical connections
Split‐system air conditioning installations
Ducted air conditioning installations
Working alongside and assisting air conditioning installers
Testing and commissioning
Residential and light‐commercial electrical work
Maintaining safe, clean and professional worksites
Who we're looking for
We're looking for someone with:
A current electrical licence
A genuine interest in both electrical and air conditioning work
A current Australian driver's licence
Strong practical skills and attention to detail
A reliable and professional attitude
Good communication and teamwork skills
Pride in delivering quality workmanship
Previous air conditioning experience or an ARC Refrigerant Handling Licence would be an advantage, but neither is essential for the right person.
