We are looking for a psychologist to join an established private psychology practice in Geelong as an independent contractor.
Flexible arrangements are available from 1–5 days per week.You can choose the days and hours that suit you, build your caseload progressively, or step into a fuller workload from the outset.
This role is suited to a psychologist who wants theautonomy and earning potential of private practice without having to build and manage everything themselves.
You will have the freedom to develop your own caseload, choose the types of work you take on and maintain your other professional interests, while benefiting from established consulting rooms, practice systems and administrative support.
You don't need to bring your own clients.The practice has ongoing referral demand across psychological therapy and assessment, allowing you to build a caseload without having to start from scratch.
You remain in control of your clinical practice and working arrangements, while we take care of the infrastructure and administrative processes around your clinical work.

What we offer
$*******k+ pro rata earning potential at 4 days per week, based on approximately 19 of 24 available clinical appointments being booked each week, depending on the fees you set.
A realistic 4-day clinical week: approximately 6 client appointments per day across four days, with professional development, supervision, planning and other non-clinical work able to be scheduled around your clinical days.
$160–$200+ base earning rate per clinical hour, depending on your client fee, with the opportunity to earn more as your billings increase.
A tiered fee structure where the percentage you retain increases as your billings grow.
Established referral demand, with enough ongoing demand to support the advertised caseload without requiring you to bring your own clients or build a caseload from scratch.
Flexible working arrangements, with the ability to choose your days, hours and workload from 1–5 days per week.
Administrative support, including bookings, billing and practice administration, reducing the amount of non-clinical work you need to do.
Fully established practice infrastructure, including consulting rooms and practice systems.
Clinical autonomy, allowing you to develop your caseload around your areas of interest and maintain control over your clinical practice.
A diverse client base across children, adolescents and adults, with opportunities in both psychological therapy and assessment.
Telehealth flexibility where clinically appropriate.
No exclusivity requirement, allowing you to continue other professional roles, work elsewhere or develop your own professional interests alongside this role.
About you
We are open to psychologists from a range of professional backgrounds and clinical interests.




You must be currently registered with AHPRA, with2+ years of postgraduate clinical experience preferred.
We are particularly interested in psychologists with experience or interests in:
Psychological assessment, particularly paediatric, developmental or educational assessment.
We are particularly interested in psychologists with an Educational & Developmental Psychology or Neuropsychology background.
Psychological therapy, including anxiety, mood, stress and other common mental health presentations.
Neurodevelopmental presentations, where this aligns with your experience and interests.
You may work primarily with children, adolescents or adults, or have a broader caseload across age groups.
We are interested in psychologists who want the flexibility to develop their practice around their own strengths and areas of interest.
Endorsement is not required.We welcome General, Clinical, Educational & Developmental, Neuropsychology and other AHPRA-registered psychologists.
You should be confident working independently, value clinical autonomy and take a thoughtful, evidence-based approach to psychological practice.

Our practice systems, referral pathways and clinical infrastructure are already established, allowing psychologists to focus on their clients rather than building the business around them.
