$130,000 – $150,000 + super + KPI-related STI & LTI (equity)
Sydney CBD | Hybrid – 3+ days in office
This is an opportunity to join an ASX-listed mining business as it moves towards production in Q******.
Working closely with the CFO and overseas mine-site finance team, you'll be responsible for management reporting, budgeting and forecasting, variance analysis and understanding the key operational and cost drivers of the business.
About the role
You'll work across finance and operations, providing financial insights to support decision-making and helping management understand business performance.
Key responsibilities:
Prepare and analyse monthly management reports
Perform budget, forecast and variance analysis
Analyse production, costs and operational performance
Monitor key mining metrics including grades, tonnes, recovery rates and C1/C2 costs
Support budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling




Partner with the mine-site finance and operational teams
Identify financial risks, trends and opportunities
Present insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders
What you'll bring
Management accounting, commercial finance or financial analysis experience
Solid budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis skills
Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability
Strong commercial mindset and analytical skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
CA/CPA/CFA highly regarded
