Our client, a Federal Government agency responsible for delivering advice and high-quality, accessible social, health and child support services and payments, is seeking an experiencedTechnical Delivery Manager.
Duties of the Technical Delivery Manager
Manage scope of projects from inception to closure;
Define, develop and manage implementation schedules and project budgets;
Coordinate resources, prepare project teams for kick‐off and ensure effective completion of project milestones, control project scope and mitigate risks;
Provide technical direction and leadership;
Ensure technical teams adhere to industry best practices, standards and methodologies;
Lead and manage technical teams including developers, engineers and other technical professionals;
Identify and manage risks related to the technical delivery;
Provide technical expertise and support teams to solve complex technical challenges.
Skills and Experience Required
Experience managing financial records, project budgets and compliance requirements;
Strong change management experience across large and complex organisational initiatives;




Proven ability to lead strategic change management programs and initiatives;
Strong project governance experience, including monitoring, change control, risk and quality management;
Experience defining, managing and prioritising requirements using appropriate methodologies, tools and techniques.
Technical Skills
Project Scheduling tools;
Knowledge and understanding of OpenShift container platform infrastructure;
Knowledge and understanding of a broad range of Microsoft technologies.
Knowledge / Qualifications
3 to 5 years of Technical Delivery Management experience in a complex, high pressured ICT setting.
