Salesforce Developer – Sales, Service & Marketing Cloud
About the Role
We're looking for an experienced, hands‐on Salesforce Developer to build, enhance and support solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Marketing Cloud Engagement.
This is a genuine cross-cloud build role rather than a specialist position focused on a single cloud, so you'll be moving between referral and sales pipelines in Sales Cloud, case management and routing in Service Cloud, and customer journeys and data extensions in Marketing Cloud Engagement.
A strong understanding of cross-cloud dependencies is essential, as changes in one cloud can directly impact the other two.
You'll take user stories through the full delivery lifecycle, from build and testing through to deployment and ongoing support, working closely with business teams and the Product Manager against agreed solution designs.
Key Responsibilities
Build, configure, enhance and maintain Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Marketing Cloud Engagement
Develop using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL/SOSL and Salesforce Flow
Build and enhance Sales Cloud pipelines including leads, accounts, contacts and opportunities
Maintain Service Cloud capabilities such as case management, queues, routing, assignment and automation
Build and maintain Marketing Cloud Engagement solutions including Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, Data Extensions and segmentation
Develop and maintain integrations between the three clouds and with other enterprise systems
Configure objects, fields, validation rules, Flows, permission sets, profiles and sharing models
Develop and consume REST/SOAP APIs




Troubleshoot issues across clouds and identify root causes across configuration, code, data and integration
Support Salesforce releases, deployments and CI/CD processes
Participate in Agile ceremonies and maintain technical and deployment documentation
Required Skills & Experience
4+ years of hands‐on Salesforce development and configuration experience, with demonstrated experience across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Marketing Cloud Engagement
Strong development skills in Apex, LWC, SOQL/SOSL and Salesforce Flow
Hands‐on experience with Sales Cloud lead/referral pipelines, accounts, contacts and opportunities
Hands‐on experience with Service Cloud case management, queues, routing and automation
Hands‐on Marketing Cloud Engagement experience, particularly Journey Builder, Data Extensions, Automation Studio and Email Studio
Experience integrating Marketing Cloud Engagement with Salesforce CRM
Robust understanding of cross‐cloud data flows and dependencies
Experience developing and consuming REST/SOAP APIs and integrating Salesforce with enterprise applications
Good understanding of Salesforce data models, security, sharing rules, roles, profiles and permission sets
Knowledge of Salesforce DX, Git, CI/CD and deployment processes
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with strong troubleshooting and communication skills
Salesforce Platform Developer I or II certification
Experience with MuleSoft or other enterprise integration platforms
Experience with Experience Cloud
Experience working in complex enterprise environments with multiple Salesforce clouds
