As an independent provider, you won't be confined to one service type, one injury type, or the same assessment on repeat.
You'll work across occupational rehabilitation, functional assessment and return to work, with genuine variety across Workers Compensation and CTP schemes in NSW.
We're a multidisciplinary team, andyou won't be the only Occupational Therapist.
You'll work alongside other OTs, Physiotherapists, Rehabilitation Counsellors, Psychologists and other allied health professionals, with the opportunity to learn from different disciplines while developing your own clinical interests.
There are also opportunities to broaden your scope beyond occupational rehabilitation, including work within ouraged care services, depending on your interests and experience.
About the Role
We're specifically looking for anOccupational Therapistwith AHPRA registration to join our team in Kingsgrove.
New graduates are encouraged to apply.Occupational rehabilitation experience isn't required, and we'll train you from the ground up.
For an OT, the role can be particularly varied.
Your caseload will be mixed and, depending on your experience and interests, may include rehabilitation case management, workplace assessments, functional capacity assessments, activities of daily living assessments, equipment and workplace modification recommendations, and Same Employer and New Employer return to work services.
You'll be supported by experienced clinicians and other Occupational Therapists as you build confidence.
You won't be expected to arrive knowing occupational rehabilitation on day one.
Most importantly, you'll join a team that's empowered to use clinical judgement and evidence-based practice, without unreasonable KPIs dictating how you work.
What You'll Actually Do
Manage amixed and varied caseloadacross Workers Compensation and CTP schemes in NSW.
Conduct Initial Needs Assessments and develop individualised rehabilitation plans.
Complete Workplace Assessments and identify practical strategies to support safe and sustainable return to work.




Conduct functional assessments, including Functional Capacity Evaluations, with senior support as you build experience.
Complete Activities of Daily Living assessments and identify functional barriers within the home and community.
Recommend appropriate equipment, modifications and support strategies.
Work across Same Employer and New Employer rehabilitation services.
Liaise directly with clients, employers, insurers, doctors and treating health professionals.
Participate in case conferences and collaborate with the wider treating team.
Set clear, measurable rehabilitation and return to work goals and monitor progress.
Write reports and maintain case documentation, with the efficiencies and systems available to make that easier.
Have the opportunity to develop additional OT skills and work across other service areas, includingaged care, if that's an area you'd like to explore.
About You
Tertiary qualification inOccupational Therapy.
CurrentAHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist, or eligibility for registration upon graduation.
New graduates and early-career Occupational Therapists are encouraged to apply.
Occupational rehabilitation experience isnot required.
Robust communication skills and an interest in working collaboratively with clients, employers and treating professionals.
An interest in understanding how injury affects someone's work, home, function and participation, not simply their diagnosis.
Organised and self-motivated, with the judgement to work independently as your experience develops.
Current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
