The Opportunity
We're looking for an experiencedUnderground Mine Supervisorto join our team, working directly with a leading Gold Mining Operation on the East Coast of Australia.
This is a FIFO opportunity on a 7/7 roster, initially offered on a 6-month contract, with the potential for longer-term opportunities.
What You'll Be Doing
Providing day-to-day leadership and supervision to underground mining crews
Ensuring underground mining activities are carried out safely, efficiently and in accordance with site procedures and operational requirements
Leading and coordinating crews to achieve production and development targets
Monitoring work progress, identifying issues and implementing practical solutions to maintain operational performance
Ensuring compliance with relevant safety, environmental and operational standards
Communicating effectively with Mining Management, technical teams and other site stakeholders
Supporting the planning and coordination of daily underground mining activities
Monitoring equipment,



workforce and operational requirements to ensure effective execution of planned activities
Identifying opportunities to improve safety, productivity and operational efficiency
Providing strong leadership and support to underground mining personnel, promoting a positive safety and performance culture
What We're Looking For
Proven experience as anUnderground Mine Supervisorwithin a mining environment
Solid operational experience inunderground hard-rock mining, ideally within a Gold operation
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage underground mining crews effectively
Strong understanding of underground mining safety, operational standards and compliance requirements
Proven ability to work towards production and development targets while maintaining a strong focus on safety
Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills
Strong commitment to safety, teamwork and continuous improvemen
