As a pest control technician - birds, you'll be responsible for working with commercial and residential customers to keep their premises bird-free.

About the role:
This role is ideal for individuals with a background in carpentry or general handyman work who enjoy hands-on problem-solving.
Your practical technical skills and experience using tools will be key to successfully installing bird management solutions across various client sites.
Primarily installing bird netting to prevent perching and roosting in these areas
Inspecting client premises thoroughly for any signs of pests
Carrying out measures as required to eliminate the pests
Identifying sales leads in the region where possible
Building rapport with and communicating with clients regarding the eradication and prevention process
Use of power tools to install hardware and various equipment
An ability to consistently work within both our clients' and Rentokil's safety parameters
Communicate to internal stakeholders and clients both orally and in writing

Desirable but not essential:
Current and valid Australian driver's licence
High-risk licence EWP - if not, can support you to obtain
White Card Construction - if not, can support you to obtain
Working at Heights - if not, can support you to obtain
Physically fit and able to work autonomously and drive long distances
Confident using Android mobile phone service app/tablet
