e2 Cyber is seeking an experienced Security Advisor for an urgent contract opportunity with a major enterprise organisation. This role will see you partnering with technology and business stakeholders to provide practical cyber security advice across projects, platforms, and cloud environments. You'll play a key role in influencing secure design decisions, conducting security reviews, identifying risks, and helping delivery teams achieve strong security outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Provide cyber security advice and guidance to technology and project teams.
n
Conduct security architecture and design reviews.
n
Perform threat modelling and security risk assessments.
n
Assess solutions against security standards and controls.
n
Support the remediation of security vulnerabilities and risks.
n
Collaborate with stakeholders to embed security into technology delivery.
n
Promote security best practices across enterprise and cloud environments.
n

About You
n
n
3+ years' experience in cyber security, information security, risk management, or assurance.
n
Experience reviewing solution designs and architectures within enterprise environments.
n




Strong understanding of security vulnerabilities, threats, and controls.
n
Experience with threat modelling and security assessments.
n
Knowledge of cloud security principles and modern security practices.
n
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
n
Ability to balance security, risk, and business outcomes.
n

Desirable
n
n
CISSP, CISM, or similar security certifications.
n
Experience working within large, complex technology environments.
n
Strong understanding of governance, risk, and compliance frameworks.
