Job Description
Ganaji Contracting is seeking experienced Tube Fitters to join a short-term Oil & Gas / Process Plant construction project in Karratha, WA.
n
We are looking for experienced tradespeople with a strong background in instrumentation tubing, small bore tubing and instrument hook-up work, particularly those experienced with stainless steel tubing, tube bending and Swagelok or Gyrolok fittings.

This is a 6-week casual project with a 3:1 FIFO roster and 12-hour days. If you have the required experience and are available for an immediate start, we would like to hear from you.

Roster: 3 weeks on / 1 week off (3:1)

Hours: 12-hour days

Duration: Approximately 6 weeks

Scope of Work
n
As a Tube Fitter, you will be responsible for the installation, fabrication and testing of instrumentation tubing systems across the project.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Installation and fabrication of stainless-steel instrumentation tubing
n
Measuring, cutting, bending, routing and securing tubing assemblies
n
Installation of small-bore tubing and instrument hook-ups
n
Installation of Swagelok, Gyrolok and similar compression fittings
n
Reading and interpreting P&IDs;, isometric and instrumentation drawings
n
Pressure testing and inspection of completed tubing systems
n
Supporting construction and pre-commissioning activities
n
Working closely with construction and commissioning teams
n
Maintaining high standards of safety, quality and housekeeping on site
n

Skills & Experience
n
n
Proven experience as a Tube Fitter / Instrumentation Tube Fitter
n
Previous experience on Oil & Gas, LNG,



Process Plant, Mining or major industrial construction projects
n
Strong understanding of instrumentation tube fitting and small-bore installation
n
Ability to work safely and effectively within a site-based construction team
n
Robust commitment to quality and project requirements
n
Ability to commit to the full 6-week project
n

Tickets & Qualifications
n
n
Relevant trade qualification or demonstrated Tube Fitting experience
n
White Card
n
Working at Heights - within the last 3 years
n
High Risk Work Licence - highly regarded
n
EWP, Forklift and HR Licence - highly regarded
n
Full Australian working rights
n
Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical and site requirements
n
