The Client

Our client is an established industry leader with a strong national presence and reputation. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an Assistant Accountant to support the finance team across a variety of day-to-day accounting responsibilities.

The Role
n
n
Assist with daily accounting and finance activities
n
Bank reconciliations and account maintenance
n
Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
n
Assist with payroll administration
n
Assist in preparing reports and schedules
n
Processing journals and maintaining financial records
n
Support the finance team with ad hoc tasks and projects
n
Assist with maintaining accurate accounting documentation
n
n
The Person
n
n
2-3 years' accounting experience
n
Degree-qualified or currently studying Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
n
CA/CPA commenced or intention to commence (highly regarded)
n
Solid attention to detail and organisational skills
n
Good Excel and systems skills
n
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
n
Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
n
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
n
Mandarin and/or Cantonese language skills highly regarded
