Cà Phê Mai is a contemporary Vietnamese cafe by day and wine bar by night, on Kiaora Lane in Double Bay. We opened in June.

We're looking for a cocktail bartender to join the evening team.
n
The drinks list takes classic cocktails and gives them a Vietnamese twist. Dragonfruit margarita, pandan colada, kumquat mai tai, yuzu negroni, pomelo americano. The flavours are tropical fruit, citrus and fresh herbs. Bright and sharp rather than sweet.

Alongside the cocktails is a natural-leaning wine list, 13 by the glass and around 80 bottles, mostly small growers from Australia, France, Italy and Spain. You don't need a wine background, but you do need to be curious enough to taste everything and talk about it with confidence.

You'll run the bar on service, look after the guests at the counter, and take care of prep and stock so the list is ready every night.
