ISG Electrical Pty Ltd is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable
Electrical Trades Assistant
to join our team in Taylors Beach, NSW. This is a
full-time position
. Working alongside experienced electricians, you will gain hands‐on experience in all aspects of switchboard manufacturing. This role is fundamental to supporting our operational excellence and helping us deliver quality electrical switchboards to our clients.
What you'll be doing
Assisting qualified electricians with assembly of high-quality electrical switchboards
Preparing work areas, tools, and materials required for electrical work, ensuring a clean, safe and organised working environment
Learning and applying electrical safety procedures and compliance with relevant regulations and standards
Operating basic workshop machinery and hand tools (grinders, pneumatic tools, drills etc)
Helping to maintain and organise tools and equipment, ensuring they remain in good working order
Loading and unloading deliveries, moving materials around the workshop, helping to install electrical equipment
Communicating effectively with team members to ensure project requirements are met
Contributing to a positive, safety‐focused workplace culture

Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high safety standards
Good problem‐solving abilities and practical mechanical aptitude
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to take direction from experienced tradespeople
Reliability and punctuality, with a qualified approach to work
