Rocklea Truck Parts is looking for a motivated Parts Interpreter / Parts Salesperson to join our busy truck dismantling and parts operation.
n
This is NOT your traditional Parts Interpreter job.
n
We specialise in American, Japanese and European trucks, selling everything from complete engines and gearboxes through to alternators, starters, suspension, electrical components and everything in between.
n
The role is heavily focused on sales, customer service and building relationships — finding the right part for the customer and getting the deal across the line.
n
$65,000–$75,000 retainer, depending on experience
n
Uncapped commission structure
n
Realistic and achievable sales targets
n
High performers can earn $200,000+ per year
n
The more you sell, the more you earn — there is no ceiling
n
Company phone provided
n
Taking phone and online enquiries
n
Identifying and sourcing truck parts
n
Quoting and negotiating with customers
n
Selling parts to workshops, transport companies, mechanics and the general public
n
Building and maintaining customer relationships
n
Working with our dismantling and yard teams to locate stock
n




Following up quotes and turning enquiries into sales
n
Using our computer systems and databases to manage enquiries and sales
n
Ideally, you'll have:
n
Experience with trucks or truck parts
n
Parts Interpreter or mechanical experience
n
A forklift licence would be highly regarded
n
A confident and positive personality
n
A natural ability to sell and build relationships
n
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
n
Most importantly, we're looking for someone who wants to sell and make money, not someone who simply wants to sit behind a parts counter.

Monday to Friday
n 7:30am – 5:00pm
n
This is a genuinely different role.
n
You'll be working in a fast-moving truck yard with a great team, dealing with all sorts of customers and trucks every day. You'll learn the business, have plenty of variety and have the prospect to build your own customer base.
n
