Paediatric Occupational Therapist – Contract

Arise Kids OT is looking for an experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist to support children and families through mobile therapy in homes, schools, childcare centres and teletherapy.

Our clients are primarily located around Marsden Park, Box Hill and surrounding suburbs, making this an ideal prospect to build a flexible paediatric caseload close to home.
n
You can nominate your preferred working days, locations and caseload size. Referrals will be offered based on your availability and experience.

Key responsibilities
n
n
Conduct functional assessments and develop individualised intervention plans
n
Deliver evidence-based, neurodiversity-affirming occupational therapy
n
Support children and adolescents with sensory processing, emotional regulation and everyday functional skills
n
Provide families, educators and support teams with practical strategies
n
Collaborate with other professionals involved in the child's support
n
Prepare reports, progress notes and clinical documentation
n
Opportunity to grow your caseload over time, with the potential to transition into a permanent role as the practice grows
n

About you
n
You will have:
n
n
Current unrestricted AHPRA registration
n
Paediatric occupational therapy experience in Australia, ideally three years or more
n
Experience supporting neurodivergent children and adolescents
n
Confidence working independently in community settings
n
Strong communication and clinical documentation skills
n
A current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
n
n
A Working with Children Check, National Police Check, child protection training, ABN and appropriate insurance must be held or obtained before commencement.
