Castlereagh Coal is an Australian family owned and operated resources company. We operate out of Invincible Colliery, Cullen Bullen, approximately 20kms north of Lithgow, running a wide range of Caterpillar and Hitachi equipment.

We have employment opportunities for experienced Plant Mechanic roles in our expanding business.
n
n
Roster: 4-5-5 work schedule (day shift only), Or 7 on 7 off work schedule (day shift only)
n
Wages: $70 per hour flat rate plus super on offer.
n
Overtime: Overtime required during peak periods or on an as needs basis.
n
Long service leave: Paid into LSL fund from day 1.
n
Superannuation: 12% of ordinary time earnings paid on payday.
n

Key Duties & Responsibilities
n
n
Service, repair and maintain diesel-powered mobile plant and equipment
n
Diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic,



mechanical, and electrical faults
n
Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance tasks
n
Complete repair documentation and communicate with site supervisors
n
n
Successful Applicants:
n
n
Diesel/Plant Mechanic or Fitter trade qualification (essential)
n
Proven experience working on heavy mobile equipment
n
Sound mechanical aptitude with hydraulic and diagnostic skills
n
Forklift licence (advantageous but not essential)
n
Robust safety focus and ability to follow maintenance procedures
n
Ability to work independently and part of a team
n
Working a heights (advantageous but not essential)
