We are looking for a skilled and reliableAutomotive Mechanicto join our team atOpposite Lock Cardiff in Cardiff, NSW.
As a full-time Automotive Mechanic, you will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicles, with a strong focus on 4WDs and light commercial vehicles.
You will also have the opportunity to work on vehicle upgrades, suspension and 4x4 modifications.

As a full-time Automotive Mechanic, you will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicles, with a strong focus on 4WDs and light commercial vehicles.
You will also have the opportunity to work on vehicle upgrades, suspension and 4x4 modifications.
What you'll be doing
Carry out general mechanical servicing, maintenance and repairs
Diagnose mechanical faults and complete repairs efficiently
Perform brake, suspension, steering and driveline repairs
Carry out suspension upgrades and other 4WD modifications
Conduct vehicle inspections and identify required repairs
Work on a wide range of 4WDs, utes and light commercial vehicles
Ensure all work is completed to a high professional standard
Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop
Follow all workplace health and safety requirements




What we're looking for
QualifiedAutomotive Mechanic / Light Vehicle Mechanic
Relevant Australian trade qualification or equivalent
Strong mechanical diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Experience working on 4WDs and diesel vehicles is highly regarded
Suspension and 4WD modification experience is an advantage
Ability to work efficiently in a busy workshop
Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Reliable, punctual and able to work well as part of a team
Valid driver's licence
