The Role
Reporting to the Group Quality & Accreditations Manager, this role leads the Quality team within a highly complex environment, overseeing the day-to-day Quality function, including four Officers in Charge and a broader team of approximately 15 QA Officers.
Lead and develop Officers in Charge and the broader QA team
Drive compliance across food safety, quality, regulatory and customer standards
Lead investigations, corrective actions and preventative improvement activities
Partner closely with Operations to improve quality and food safety performance
Support external audits, regulatory inspections and customer requirements
Provide guidance across HACCP, approved arrangements and site procedures
Develop team capability,



training and performance across the Quality function
Build strong relationships with operational, regulatory and leadership stakeholders
Your Background
This role will suit an experienced Quality professional who has led a broad Quality function, including supervisors and QA teams, with strong people leadership capability and experience operating within a highly regulated food manufacturing environment.
Proven leadership experience within food manufacturing or a regulated FMCG environment
Strong knowledge of food safety, quality and compliance systems, including HACCP
Experience leading and developing Quality Assurance teams
Strong understanding of regulatory and customer audit requirements
Experience managing investigations, non-conformances and corrective actions
Experience within export food manufacturing, meat processing or another highly regulated protein environment will be highly regarded.
The role also requires relevant industry certifications and a strong understanding of food safety and regulatory requirements.
