In this role, you will support children and young people to achieve their educational goals, participate fully in school life and overcome barriers to learning and wellbeing.
Key responsibilities
Design and implement individualised programs in collaboration with teachers, parents/carers and relevant professionals, ensuring they are developmentally appropriate and responsive to each student's age, strengths and needs.
Conduct assessment of students in areas such as, communication, alternative and augmentative communication, speech, language, and social/behavioural needs.
(Speech Pathologist).
Provide information about special access equipment and physical barriers withing the school workplace as required by staff, parents / carers.
(Occupational Therapist).
Conduct assessment of students in areas such as regulation, fine motor, self care, social interactions.

What you need
Qualifications & Accreditations.
A graduate or post-graduate qualification in occupational therapy or equivalent.
Registration as a occupational therapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
