Key Responsibilities:
Wash and detail civil and rail plant and equipment to site-ready standards
Perform routine checks and carry out minor mechanical repairs
Assist with loading/unloading gear and managing yard inventory
Work around and assist withloaders, excavators, rail-specific plant, and other heavy machinery
Support a safety-first culture and keep the yard clean, organised, and compliant
Requirements:
Valid driver's licence (essential)
Familiarity withcivil and rail plant(loaders, excavators, etc.)
Mechanically minded with the ability to spot issues and perform minor fixes
Reliable, physically fit, and keen to work in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to learn and progress into aPlant Operatorrole over time
