Job Description
We're looking for a capable, hands-on person to become an important part of our Toowoomba depot team.
n
This is a full-time, depot-based role working alongside our Depot Supervisor to help keep the day-to-day operation running smoothly.
n
Key responsibilities
n
Assist drivers to unload and reload vehicles
n
Move freight around the depot manually and by forklift
n
Scan and sort freight
n
Help maintain an organised and efficient depot floor
n
Work closely with the Depot Supervisor, other team members and the business owners
n
Communicate well with drivers, customers and other team members
n
About you
n
Hold a current forklift licence
n
Hold a current car driver licence
n
Be physically fit and capable of regular manual handling
n
Have good literacy and numeracy skills
n
Have valuable organisational and communication skills
n
Be confident with technology and willing to learn new systems
n
Be reliable, proactive and able to use initiative
n
Be able to work independently as well as effectively with other team members
n
An LR, MR or HR truck licence would be advantageous, but is not essential
