Job Description
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Administration Officerwho enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment and takes pride in providing exceptional service. You'll play an important role in supporting patients throughout their hospital journey while ensuring our administrative and front-of-house services run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
n
You'll play an important role in supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of our patient services and front-of-house administration, working closely with patients, families and our clinical teams.
n
As a Administration Officer,you will be responsible for a broad range of administrative duties including:
n
n
Managing the busy reception desk, including answering calls and handling inquiries
n
Managing both electronic and paper-based medical records
n
Attention to detail and robust communication skills
n
Maintaining accurate and efficient record management systems
n
Supporting ward staff with administrative tasks
n
Liaising with other departments and team members as required
n
Completing other clerical tasks as requested, such as data entry, scanning, preparing resources, and welcome packs
n
Conducting Health Fund checks and other financial tasks related to admissions
n
Work collaboratively as a positive and supportive team member while also demonstrating the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
n
Contribute to a culture of accountability, professionalism, continuous improvement and patient-centred care.
n
Share knowledge, support colleagues and actively participate in team meetings and organisational initiatives.
n

n

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all aspects of work.

Intermediate to advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office and patient management systems
n
Ability to work effectively in a busy and fast-paced environment
