Job Description
Pelican Waters Bowls Club Inc is seeking a Casual Bar Attendant to join our hospitality team at our Golden Beach location. This is a casual position that offers flexibility and the opportunity to be part of a welcoming community-focused venue. As a Bar Attendant, you will be the face of our club, delivering exceptional service to our members and guests whilst maintaining the highest standards of bar operations and customer care.

What you'll be doing

Preparing and serving drinks to club members and guests in accordance with venue policies and responsible service of alcohol guidelines
n
Operating the point-of-sale system accurately and processing payments securely
n
Maintaining a clean, organised and well-stocked bar area throughout your shift
n
Greeting customers warmly and providing friendly, attentive service in a timely manner
n
Following all health and safety regulations and club procedures
n
Assisting with general bar maintenance, including stock rotation and inventory checks
n
Supporting the wider hospitality team during busy periods and special events
n
Responding professionally to customer inquiries and resolving issues where possible
n

What we're looking for
n
n
Proven experience working in a bar, cafe or hospitality setting
n
Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification (and willingness to gain Responsible Service of Gaming (RSG))
n




Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine friendliness and enthusiasm for customer service
n
Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
n
Reliable and punctual with a professional approach to work
n
Basic numeracy skills and comfort using point-of-sale systems
n
A positive attitude and flexibility to adapt to changing venue needs
n
Knowledge of beer, wine and spirits is desirable but not essential
n
