Job Description
An chance is available for an experienced Rig Mechanic to join a well servicing team supporting modern truck-mounted service rigs across the Australian onshore oil & gas sector.

Based from Wellcamp, Toowoomba, you will provide mechanical maintenance support across the rig fleet, with regular travel to field locations as required. A company vehicle will be provided for travel from Wellcamp, with accommodation and meals covered while working away.

About the Role

Provide mechanical support and repairs across the well servicing fleet
n
Carry out preventative and scheduled maintenance on rigs, vehicles and plant
n
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and electrical issues
n
Develop and maintain preventative maintenance programs and inspection schedules
n
Prioritise and manage maintenance work orders
n




Provide technical support to field crews and assist with troubleshooting
n
Travel to operational sites as required
n
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety and operating procedures
n

About You
n
n
Trade qualified Diesel Fitter, Heavy Vehicle Mechanic or Plant Mechanic
n
Minimum 5 years' experience with drilling, workover or well servicing rigs highly desirable
n
Strong hydraulic maintenance experience
n
Experience with heavy mobile plant and equipment
n
Electrical and instrumentation knowledge advantageous
n
PLC experience highly regarded
n
Confined Space, Working at Heights and Breathing Apparatus tickets desirable
n
Reliable, proactive and safety-focused approach
