Our client is embarking on a significant digital transformation program, with a strong focus on cyber security, technology risk reduction, remediation and the uplift of critical technology environments.
n
We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Business Analyst to join this high-profile transformation program and work closely with senior business, technology, cyber security and operational stakeholders.
n
Experience within one or more of the following environments will be highly regarded: Aerospace, Defence, Aviation, Manufacturing, Heavy Industry, Mining, Pharmaceuticals or other highly regulated industries.

Key Skills & Responsibilities
n
10+ years' experience as a Business Analyst, with a robust background delivering complex technology initiatives and enterprise transformation programs.
n
Experience supporting cyber security, technology risk, remediation and risk reduction programs.
n
Understanding of Essential Eight, cyber security uplift and technology risk reduction initiatives.
n
Experience working across or alongside IT and OT environments, ideally where technology directly impacts physical operations, production, safety or critical infrastructure.
n
Lead business analysis activities across complex technology transformation, cyber and technology risk initiatives.
n
Analyse current-state environments and contribute to future-state technology and operating models.
n
Translate complex technology issues and risks into clear business requirements and actionable outcomes.
n




Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions across technology, cyber, engineering, operations and business teams.
n
Define business problems, objectives, benefits, success measures and requirements.
n
Analyse business processes, systems, data flows, integrations and operational dependencies.
n
Develop clear requirements and documentation to support solution design and implementation.
n
Maintain traceability between requirements, risks, controls, remediation activities, testing and delivered outcomes.
n
Partner with Cyber Security, Infrastructure, Architecture, Engineering, Operations and Project teams.
n
Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with senior executives, technical teams, operational stakeholders and business leaders.
n
Support business cases, investment proposals, cost-benefit analysis and risk assessments.
n
Identify opportunities to improve technology resilience, operational efficiency and risk posture.
n
Support testing activities, acceptance criteria and UAT.
n
Communicate risks, issues, dependencies and progress clearly to senior stakeholders and executives.
n
Experience working within structured governance, risk and compliance environments.
n
Strong workshop facilitation, stakeholder management, analytical, problem-solving and documentation skills.
n
Experience with BA/Agile tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira and Confluence.
n
Contribute to BA practices, governance and continuous improvement across the program.
n
Mentor and support less experienced Business Analysts where required.
