What this role is all about
n
We're looking for an experienced Senior Acoustic Engineer to join our growing Acoustics team.
n
This role can be based from our Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney or Adelaide office, giving you the opportunity to work as part of a national team and contribute to projects across Australia.
n
You'll take a key role in the delivery of acoustic engineering solutions across building and environmental projects, working closely with clients, project teams and other disciplines across Lucid.
n
You'll bring strong technical capability and consulting experience, while also having the opportunity to support and mentor developing engineers, contribute to client relationships and help strengthen our acoustic capability nationally.

How you'll contribute day-to-day
n
n
Lead and deliver acoustic engineering design, assessment and calculations across building and environmental projects
n
Undertake acoustic modelling and analysis using tools such as SoundPLAN and Insul
n
Prepare, review and deliver high-quality technical reports, assessments and project documentation
n
Provide technical advice and practical acoustic solutions to clients and project teams
n




Manage acoustic components of projects from initial assessment through to delivery
n
Work closely with clients, contractors, architects, engineers and other project stakeholders
n
Undertake site investigations, noise measurements and noise logger installations as required
n
Attend and lead client, site and project meetings
n
Support and mentor junior members of the Acoustics team
n
Contribute to project planning, technical reviews and quality outcomes
n
Build strong client relationships and identify opportunities to support the continued growth of Lucid's Acoustics capability
n

What sets you up for success
n
n
An Australian-recognised degree in Audio/Acoustics, Science, Engineering or a related discipline
n
Demonstrated experience working within acoustic engineering or acoustic consulting
n
Strong technical knowledge across building and/or environmental acoustics
n
Experience using acoustic modelling software such as SoundPLAN and Insul
n
Strong technical report writing and communication skills
n
Confidence working directly with clients and multidisciplinary project teams
n
Ability to manage priorities and take ownership of project deliverables
n
A cooperative approach and willingness to support the development of others
n




A proactive mindset with an interest in contributing to the continued growth of the team
n
Full working rights in Australia
n
Australian citizenship is preferred for Defence project requirements such as baseline security clearance
n
