Solid Surface Fabricator – Workshop & Warehouse

Jacaranda Kitchens is looking for an experienced Solid Surface Fabricator & Warehouse Coordinator to join our team based in Clontarf.
n
This is a hands‐on role suited to someone who has solid surface fabrication experience and enjoys being organised, practical and taking ownership of the day‐to‐day running of a busy workshop and warehouse.
n
You'll be responsible for fabricating quality solid surface products while also coordinating the movement, storage, packing and dispatch of materials and completed orders.

What You'll Be Doing
n
Solid Surface Fabrication
n
n
Fabricating, joining, sanding and finishing solid surface products
n
Manufacturing benchtops, splashbacks, vanities, counters and custom components
n
Working from shop drawings, specifications and job requirements
n
Cutting, routing, polishing and finishing solid surface materials
n
Carrying out detailed fabrication and ensuring a high-quality finished product
n
Identifying and resolving practical fabrication issues
n
Maintaining a clean,



protected and organised fabrication area
n
Assisting with loading and preparing completed orders for delivery or installation
n
n
Warehouse & Stock Coordination
n
n
Overseeing the day‐to‐day organisation of the solid surface warehouse
n
Receiving incoming solid surface sheets, materials and associated products
n
Checking deliveries against orders and reporting any discrepancies or damage
n
Safely unloading, moving and storing stock
n
Maintaining organised stock locations and ensuring materials are easy to locate
n
Monitoring stock levels and communicating when materials need to be reordered
n
Moving stock between storage, fabrication and dispatch areas
n
Picking and preparing materials for production
n
Packing solid surface orders securely and correctly for delivery
n
Preparing completed orders for installers, delivery drivers and customers
n
Coordinating outgoing orders to ensure everything required is ready and accounted for
n
Keeping warehouse and dispatch areas clean, safe and organised
n
Using a forklift to load, unload and move materials safely
n
n
What We're Looking For
n
We're looking for someone who is experienced, reliable and takes pride in their work.
n




You will ideally have:
n
n
Previous hands‐on experience in solid surface fabrication
n
Experience with materials such as Corian, Staron, HI‐MACS or similar
n
The ability to read and understand shop drawings
n
Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality
n
A current Forklift Licence with high level of forklift experience
n
Valuable organisational and time‐management skills
n
The ability to safely handle large and heavy materials
n
A practical, problem‐solving approach
n
The ability to work independently while also being part of a team
n
Good communication skills
n
A strong understanding of workplace health and safety
n
A current driver's licence
n
Truck Licence (LR) Highly regarded
n
n
Experience with thermoforming, CNC machinery, site joining and installation would be highly regarded.
