We require a Feedmill Operator to join a fun, close-knit team of 7, and work a 10/4 roster.
n
Working closely with other team members, you'll safely operate Mill machinery and equipment to ensure customised feed rations are distributed to feed cattle so the highest standards of animal health and nutrition are maintained.
n
This is ideal role for a local Somerset/Lockyer resident, with their own reliable transport.
n

n
Conveniently located between Esk and Gatton, in a picturesque spot, our Brisbane Valley Feedlot carries approximately **** head of cattle.
n

You'll be comfortable working in a structured environment, following procedures and able to safely undertake a range of activities including:
n
Operating feed truck
n
Operating front end loader
n
Perform basic vehicle and equipment maintenance
n
Accurately follow ration formulas
n
Monitor, measure, load and weigh commodities
n
Tempering and milling grain
n
Recordingdata and information
n
You'll also get the opportunity to help out in the livestock team and learn cattle handling and processing skills.

Previous experience in operating feed trucks and front end loaders is ideal, however full training for the right candidate will be provided.
