Job Description
We are looking forRegistered Nurses who can work well with a team of clinical and disability support staff to provide complex health and personal care for an NDIS participant living in their home 24/7.

This role will:
n
Work with an experienced team of Disability Support Workers and allied health, who are providing 24/7 services to a participant with high intensity support needs in a ratio of up to 2:1. No challenging behaviours.
n
Provide complex daily care needs includes, but is not limited to, clinical care in the areas of;
n
medication
administration/management
n
PEG feeding
n
wound and pressure care management
n
pain management.
n
Respond to incidents and conduct incident reporting and monitoring to deliver and maintain best practice.
n
Implement support care plans to meet the changing health needs of the participant, according to medical and allied health qualified recommendations
n
Essential qualifications and requirements include:
n
n




AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse without restrictions
n
Minimum five years experience as an RN and of these, two years in a clinical setting.
n
First Aid Certificate – annually/CPR annually;
n
if relevant, International Police Checks (If you have worked for a continuous period of 12 months or more in another country within the last 10 years)
n
COVID19 Vaccination - within the last 6mths
n
n
Desirable skills, experience and qualifications include:
n
n
Five years RN experience includes two years in a clinical setting
n
Completion of additional NDIS modules
n
NDIS Orientation and Worker Clearance
n
n
