We're hiring an Accountant with at least 2 years' Australian public practice experience to join our Mackay team.

Full-time: Monday–Friday

This role is based in beautiful Mackay, so we're ideally looking for someone already local or genuinely excited about making the move.

Key Responsibilities:
n
Prepare individual, company, partnership and trust tax returns
n
Prepare financial statements and compliance work
n
Communicate directly with clients and build strong relationships
n
Manage your allocated work and deadlines
n
Work alongside junior accountants who support your workload
n
Review supporting work and provide guidance where required
n
What We're Looking For:
n
Minimum 2 years' Australian public practice accounting experience
n
Robust technical knowledge across tax and financial reporting
n
Confident and comfortable in a client-facing role
n




Strong communication and relationship-building skills
n
Excellent attention to detail and organisation
n
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
n
Karbon workflow experience advantageous
n
