Job Description
This role is ideal for a recent graduate/studying or someone with up to 2 years' experience who wants hands-on exposure to taxation, accounting and business advisory work. Working closely with experienced accountants and the Partner, you will be involved in a broad range of client work and receive direct mentoring as you develop your career.

Key responsibilities
n

Preparing financial statements and income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, SMSFs and individuals.
n
Preparing BAS and IAS lodgements.
n
Processing bookkeeping and accounting records.
n
Preparing working papers and supporting documentation.
n
Assisting with payroll and superannuation compliance.
n
Liaising with clients to obtain financial information and answer day-to-day queries.
n
Assisting with tax planning, business advisory and special projects.
n




Maintaining accurate client files and records.
n

About you
n
n
Hold or be completing an Accounting degree.
n
Be studying or intending to study CA or CPA.
n
Have strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
n
Be confident communicating with clients and team members.
n
Have a genuine interest in taxation and business services.
n
Be willing to learn and take on recent challenges.
n
Experience with Xero, MYOB or similar accounting software is advantageous but not essential.
n
Direct mentoring from the Partner.
n
Exposure to a wide variety of clients and industries.
n
