We are a family-owned transport and crane hire business looking for an experienced Welder / Boilermaker to join our workshop team.
n
This is a hands‐on role suited to a tradesperson who takes pride in their workmanship and is confident working across a range of transport, heavy vehicle and crane‐related equipment.

About the role
n
n
General welding and fabrication
n
Repairs and modifications to heavy vehicles, trailers and equipment
n
Structural and general steel fabrication
n
Maintenance and repair work on transport and crane equipment
n
Reading and working from drawings where required
n
Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
n
Working independently as well as as part of a small workshop team
n

About you
n
We are looking for someone who:
n
n




Has at least 4 years' practical experience as a Welder / Boilermaker
n
Has strong MIG welding and fabrication skills
n
Is confident working with heavy equipment and steel
n
Has a good understanding of workshop safety
n
Can work independently and take pride in producing quality work
n
Is reliable, hardworking and has a good attitude
n
Heavy vehicle, trailer or crane experience would be highly regarded
n
