Duties & Responsibilities
n
AquacultureTechnicians
will be required to:
n
n
Actively participate in training and assigned duties.
n
Work in both the hatchery and grow out areas.
n
Experience and gain skills in fundamentals of prawn aquaculture, including maturation and spawning, live feed production, feeding and feed monitoring, and basic maintenance.
n
Assist
invariousadditional
tasks as assigned, eg animal health monitoring, microbiology,



sample collection, analysisof water quality parameters, andharvesting.
n
Participate inresearch trials, collect data and assist compile reports as required.
n
Assist with cleaning and routine maintenance.
n
Adhere to and maintain our standard operating procedures.
n
Strictly adhere tothe company'sworkplace health and safety, and responsible environmental practices.
n
Strictly adhere to the company's biosecurity protocols.
n

Qualifications, Skills and Experience
n
n
Relevant
aquaculture/science
qualifications (TAFE or University) and/or experienceis desirable.
n
Sound competency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
n
You should possess an awesomework ethic andbe highly motivated to succeed.
n
You must be able towork responsibly andeffectively withina team workplace, and unsupervised.
n
A valid Australian Driver's License is required.
n
