APG Workforce are currently seeking a 2 or 3IC Farm Manager to join a well-known company supplying quality fresh eggs to the retail marketplace, based in Bargo, NSW.

We are looking for a proven leader with strong
livestock/poultry/egg
industry experience or transferable skills from hands‐on agriculture.
n The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage both people and production to ensure smooth farm operations.
n
Local applicants only - overseas applications will not be considered. An on‐site visit to view farm operations is mandatory.
n
Key Responsibilities:
n
n
Oversee and manage all aspects of poultry farm operations including feeding, watering, egg collection, and environmental controls (temperature, ventilation, lighting).
n
Lead, train, and supervise farm staff to ensure work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to high standards.
n
Provide explicit direction, set daily priorities, and monitor team performance, driving a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
n
Ensure the health, welfare, and humane treatment of all birds in line with strict animal welfare standards.
n
Monitor and report on flock performance including health, egg production rates, bird weights, and mortality, and take corrective actions where needed.
n
Oversee maintenance of farm sheds, equipment, and machinery, coordinating repairs and servicing.
n
Manage stock levels for feed, medications, and farm supplies, including ordering and supplier coordination.
n
Ensure compliance with food safety, WHS, and quality standards at all times.
n
Assist in preparing and managing farm budgets, controlling operational costs, and ensuring KPIs are achieved.

What We're Looking For:
n
n
Demonstrated experience in poultry, egg production, or livestock farm management.
n
Proven people management skills, with the ability to lead, coach, and build effective teams.
n
Strong background in food safety, compliance, and operational oversight.
n
Physically fit and comfortable working in a manual, hands-on environment.
n
Forklift/tractor licence and MR/HR licence preferred; ChemCert certification highly regarded.
n
Full Australian work rights are essential.
