CE Group is expanding our delivery footprint in Central Queensland and we're mobilising 10 x Electrical and Instrumentation Technicians (E&I;) for a major mine redevelopment project commencing immediately.

This is a full new-plant installation including a washplant, tailings processing facility, switchrooms and mine services electrical infrastructure. The Role:

You'll form part of CE Group's electrical delivery team working across all stages of construction, installation, testing, commissioning and quality assurance activities for the new washplant and associated facilities.
n
Whether your background is in Electrical & Instrumentation or Electrical Commissioning, you'll be supported by an experienced onsite leadership group including PM, CM, Supervisors and HSEQ personnel.

Key Duties:

Install, terminate, test and commission electrical and instrumentation systems on large mine construction project
n
Calibrate, loop check and verify instrumentation equipment
n
Support construction, testing and commissioning of pumps, conveyors and process equipment
n

n

General Responsibilities
n
n
Read and interpret drawings, plans and engineering documentation
n
Perform isolations, LOTO and follow all mine electrical safety procedures
n
Work collaboratively with supervisors, engineers and CE Group's broader site team
n
n
About You:
n
n
Qualified Electrician with relevant industrial project experience
n
E&I; experience and instrumentation exposure highly regarded for E&I; Technician positions
n
QA/QC experience within construction, commissioning or industrial projects highly regarded for QA/QC positions
n
Working at Heights and Confined Space Training preferred
n
Coal Board Medical or MMQ Medical required (Minerals & Quarrying)
n
Background in mining, minerals processing, heavy industrial, BESS, power stations or plant installation preferred
n
Strong understanding of electrical safety, compliance and quality requirements
n
Ability to work effectively within a large construction crew
n
