The Opportunity
n
We are seeking a qualified prescribing clinician to join our growing telehealth clinic on a flexible contract basis.
n
This role is ideal for a:
n
n
Nurse Practitioner (with prescribing authority)
n
Medical Practitioner
n
Pharmacist Prescriber (if applicable under Australian regulations)
n
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Conduct telehealth consultations (primarily video-based initial consults)
n
Perform patient assessments including:n
n
Medical history review
n
Eligibility screening
n
n
Develop personalised treatment plans
n
Submit TGA applications (SAS-B pathway) where required
n
Prescribe medications in accordance with Australian law
n
Provide follow-up consultations and ongoing patient management
n
Maintain accurate clinical documentation
n
Ensure all care is delivered in line with AHPRA, TGA, and telehealth guidelines
n
n
Patient Journey You Will Be Working Within
n
The patient journey process:
n

Patients complete an eligibility questionnaire via the website
n
Eligible patients book a consultation
n
n
You will conduct:
n
n
Identity verification
n
Eligibility assessment
n
Clinical evaluation
n
n
If appropriate:
n
n
Develop a treatment plan
n
Obtain consent
n
Prescribe treatment
n




Follow-up consultations
n
Treatment adjustments
n

What We're Looking For
n
Registered Nurse Practitioner (AHPRA) or Medical Practitioner
n
Current prescribing authority in Australia
n
Experience in telehealth or willingness to work in a digital environment
n
Strong understanding of:

Clinical assessment
n
Regulatory compliance
n
Ability to work independently
n

Highly Desirable (Not Mandatory)
n
Experience in:

Medicinal cannabis prescribing
n
Peptide therapy
n
Integrative or alternative medicine

Familiarity with:

Authorised Prescriber Scheme
