About the role
n
As an AME, you will be responsible for supporting the protected and efficient maintenance of various helicopters, including Helitreck's aerial fire fighting fleet of BK117's.
n
Key responsibilities
n
n
Conducting scheduled and unscheduled helicopter maintenance
n
Carrying out inspections, servicing and defect rectification
n
Fault finding and troubleshooting
n
Assisting with component removal, installation and maintenance
n
Completing accurate maintenance documentation and records
n
Working in accordance with CASA requirements, approved maintenance data and company procedures
n
Supporting maintenance activities at remote and regional locations when required
n




Working collaboratively with other maintenance and operational personnel
n
n
About you
n
n
A minimum of 2 years' experience in helicopter maintenance
n
Previous experience working on turbine-powered helicopters
n
A strong commitment to aviation safety and quality workmanship
n
Good mechanical and troubleshooting skills
n
The ability to accurately complete maintenance documentation
n
The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
n
A reliable, organised and self-motivated approach to your work
n
The ability and willingness to work at remote and regional locations when required
n
A current Australian driver's licence
n
The ability to obtain and maintain an ASIC
n
n
Desirable Experience
n
Experience with the following aircraft, engines or systems will be highly regarded:

n
n
BK117 experience will be particularly advantageous
