The College is seeking an enthusiastic, suitably qualified and committed Acting Curriculum Leader: Health Studies to join our school community in a full-time fixed-term replacement position from Friday 15 January **** until December **** to cover a period of leave.
At the conclusion of the acting appointment, this opportunity will transition into a permanent teaching position with the College.
The successful applicant will have the capacity to teach Senior Health and will be welcomed into a collaborative, high-performing learning environment where student wellbeing, academic excellence and personal growth are prioritised.

Key responsibilities
Lead and inspire a energetic Health Studies faculty, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation and excellence in teaching and learning
Drive the development, implementation and review of curriculum, assessment and reporting practices to ensure high-quality learning outcomes for students
Mentor and develop teachers through coaching, classroom observation, professional dialogue and evidence-based feedback that supports professional growth
Use student achievement data and contemporary educational research to guide continuous improvement in curriculum delivery and student outcomes




Contribute to the strategic leadership of the College by promoting the Mary Ward ethos and supporting initiatives that enhance learning, wellbeing and student success
About you
Ability to teach Senior Health highly desirable
Enthusiastic and student-focused educator passionate about inspiring young women to achieve their personal best
Strong curriculum knowledge
Excellent relationship-building skills
Commitment to fostering engaging and inclusive learning environments
Enjoy working collaboratively with colleagues and leading a team
Committed to contributing to the wider life of the College
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE), or willingness to obtain this qualification
