Role Description -
n
Cape to Coast Group is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our team on a 12-month contract, working a 7 on 7 off roster you will be supporting the delivery of a mining Greenfield structural, mechanical and piping (SMP) project.
n
This role would suit a capable Mechanical Engineer who can confidently manage project delivery, coordinate schedules, maintain strong client relationships and oversee commercial matters throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Support the delivery of Greenfield SMP works
n
Develop, monitor and update project schedules
n
Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction and site activities
n
Manage client communications, meetings and project reporting
n
Identify, prepare and manage variations and scope changes
n
Monitor project costs, progress, risks and deliverables
n
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and internal project personnel
n




Ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards
n

Qualifications
n
n
Project Engineering capabilities with 5+ years in greenfield projects
n
Project Management and Project Planning skills, including scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating multidisciplinary activities.
n
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders, prepare concise reports, and present technical information clearly.
n
Relevant tertiary qualification in engineering (preferably Mechanical or a related discipline) and experience in a mining or construction environment are beneficial.
n
Experience with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality assurance processes, along with proficiency in common engineering and project management software, is advantageous.
n
Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to working on-site in a team-oriented environment are desirable.
n
