Job Description
Lynch Law is looking for an experienced Accounts & Office Administrator to join our small, friendly team in Tewantin as soon as possible. This is a varied role suited to someone who is organised, efficient and enjoys being part of a close-knit office. While the primary focus will be accounts and administration, a flexible approach is important, as you may be required to assist with overflow of phone calls and general office tasks if needed.

Key responsibilities

Managing the firm's trust account in accordance with Queensland Law Society requirements, including maintaining accurate records and ensuring the account is audit-ready
n
General accounting and bookkeeping using Xero
n
Payroll processing using Xero
n
General accounts payable and receivable
n
Preparing and coordinating the firm's insurance renewals and related requirements, including assisting with file audits
n
Managing general office requirements and supplies
n
Liaising with suppliers and service providers
n
n
About you
n
n
Previous experience within a Queensland law firm is essential, however, a candidate with law firm experience in another State or Territory may be considered
n
Practical experience with Queensland legal trust accounting is essential
n
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
n
Well organised, reliable and able to work independently
n
Comfortable juggling a variety of tasks and helping wherever needed
n
A positive sense of humour and a friendly, down-to-earth approach
n
Experience with SmokeBall or similar practice management system would be an advantage, but is not essential
n
