We are seeking a skilledRoof & Floor Detailer (Pryda)to join the team at Arden Truss in Dandenong South, Victoria.
This is afull-time positionbased at our manufacturing facility, where you will play a crucial role in the design and detailing of roof and floor truss systems using Pryda software.
Your expertise will directly contribute to the quality and precision of our product delivery, ensuring that our clients receive accurate specifications and designs that meet industry standards and project requirements.
What you'll be doing
Utilise Pryda software to create detailed designs and specifications for roof and floor truss systems
Review architectural and engineering drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with building codes and regulations
Produce comprehensive detail drawings and documentation for manufacturing and installation teams
Communicate with clients, architects, and engineers to clarify design requirements and resolve technical issues
Ensure all detailing work meets quality standards and project timelines
Collaborate with the production team to optimise design efficiency and manufacturability
Maintain accurate records of all designs and specifications
Stay current with industry standards, software updates, and best practices in truss design
What we're looking for
Proven experience as a Roof & Floor Detailer or in a similar role within the construction or manufacturing industry
Advanced proficiency with Pryda software is essential
Strong knowledge of roof and floor truss design principles and construction practices




Solid understanding of building codes, standards, and regulatory requirements
Excellent technical drawing and documentation skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
Effective communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot design challenges
Experience with CAD software or other design tools is advantageous
